BETWEEN MACHINE & SKY is the creative fusion of artist/ maker Sally Wrights' rich experiences in the worlds of fashion, textiles and fine art from over the past 25 years. With an ideology focusing on sculptural forms, the hand made, material exploration and sustainable practices, Sally creates ranges of highly crafted jewellery and accessories to wear, display and play with; created from an array of ecologically sensitive materials, such as tree resin, recycled metals, cork bark, and paper made from beer waste, to name just a few.
Alongside the shop, where you can purchase a range of these products; an ever growing raft of articles, explorations, and news about the worlds of creativity, sustainable design, fashion and making, are there for you to meander through.
Slow fashion, sustainability, and extending the life of the objects we love, is at the heart of the my makers bench - creating objects that can be repaired, recycled, or easily biodegrade, with non-toxic processes at their heart. In the spirit of this we offer a free repairs scheme on many of our products, allowing your treasured items to stay lustrous and joyful for years to come.
